Version 0.8.1 - Release Notes

Version 0.8.1 brings Pick-Two Draft and Pick-Two Set Cube Draft to CubeForge, plus a small quality-of-life option for cube lists with lots of basic lands.

✌️ Pick-Two Draft formats

Both formats are available from the online draft setup, whether you are drafting with bots or starting a guest draft. They are also available as templates when you create a custom draft format for one of your cubes.

🌍 Localisation continues beyond card printings

Version 0.8.0 introduced localized card printings. With 0.8.1, that work continues into more of the interface around those cards.

The new draft formats are described in English, French, and Japanese across the online draft setup, guest drafts, and custom-format templates. The new cube-list display option is localized there too.

This is still not a complete translation pass across every part of CubeForge. The goal is to keep moving through the screens you use every day, so the interface feels more consistent around the cards and printings you choose.

A number of existing translations still feel off and need to be corrected by hand. Good localisation is more than filling in every string: the wording needs to sound natural to people who play Magic in that language. That review takes time, so it will continue gradually rather than being rushed.

🏞️ Keep basic lands together when expanding your cube

Expanded card lists are useful when you want to see every copy in a cube, but they can make a land section feel much longer than it needs to be.

There is now a Group basic lands display option. When cards are expanded, it keeps identical basic lands together with a quantity instead of listing every copy separately. Nonbasic cards stay expanded, so you can still inspect the individual cards in the rest of the cube.
