Version 0.8.8 - Release Notes
CubeForge 0.8.8 adds a drag-and-drop deck builder to completed drafts, improves card-pool grouping, and restores Advanced Bots data from JSON backups.
Finishing a draft is only half the job. The next step is turning that card pool into a deck.
Version 0.8.8 gives completed drafts a proper deck builder, with stacked cards, drag-and-drop organization, and a clearer way to move between the mainboard and sideboard.
🃏 Build directly from your completed draft
Your completed card pool is now arranged in compact columns by mana value, with lands kept in their own column. Cards overlap within each column, so you can see the shape of your deck without scrolling through a large grid of full cards.
Drag a card to place it before or after another card, move it to a different column, or drop it onto the mainboard and sideboard tabs to change zones. The drop preview shows the card's exact destination before you release it.
As soon as you rearrange cards outside their default mana-value groups, the layout switches to Custom. Select CMC again whenever you want to restore the automatic curve.
The deck builder is available after both online and guest drafts. Other players' decklists remain read-only, so you can inspect their builds without changing them.
📚 A cleaner card pool while drafting
Identical copies in the Your Deck sidebar are now grouped into one row with a quantity badge. This keeps the pool easier to scan when a draft contains duplicate cards.
If you would rather see every copy separately, the card's context menu lets you split the group and combine it again later.
On the completed-draft page, your own Decklist now opens in Text view by default for quicker copying and exporting. Card Preview remains available, and other players' decklists continue to open as visual previews.
💾 JSON backups keep Advanced Bots tuning
Importing a CubeForge JSON backup now restores the full Advanced Bots setup instead of only the visible card list.
Bot settings, archetypes, card priorities, roles, and archetype assignments are all preserved, so the restored cube is ready to review and use.
🔒 Smaller privacy and localization fixes
CubeForge no longer includes usernames, email addresses, or account creation dates in analytics. The Privacy Policy and Terms of Service have also been rewritten to describe the service and its data handling more clearly.
French and Japanese set-cube landing pages now display their archetype mana symbols correctly.
