Terms of Service
Last updated: August 20, 2026
1. Agreement to These Terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of CubeForge (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use CubeForge.
2. The Service
CubeForge is a free web application for building, managing, sharing, and drafting Magic: The Gathering cubes. It includes account features, cube lists and documents, custom-card tools, community sharing, hosted and guest drafts, card data, and related APIs and utilities. CubeForge currently does not charge users for access.
The Service continues to evolve. Features, supported formats, integrations, limits, and interfaces may change over time.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for:
- providing reasonably accurate account information and keeping it current;
- maintaining the security of your password, sign-in provider, and devices;
- activity performed through your account; and
- notifying CubeForge if you believe your account has been compromised.
You may stop using CubeForge or delete your account through Account Settings → Danger Zone. Review the Privacy Policy for what that control deletes and how to request broader deletion.
4. Acceptable Use
Please do not use CubeForge to:
- break applicable law or infringe another person's rights;
- harass, threaten, impersonate, defraud, or abuse another person;
- upload malware, malicious code, or content intended to compromise a device or account;
- gain unauthorized access to the Service, another account, or non-public data;
- circumvent security controls, permissions, rate limits, or access restrictions;
- disrupt, overload, damage, or materially degrade the Service or its providers; or
- use scraping or automation in a way that ignores published limits, creates unreasonable load, or interferes with legitimate users. Reasonable use of documented APIs and ordinary interoperability is welcome.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of content you create and submit, including cube descriptions and primers, articles, comments, custom cards, uploaded images, and other original material ("User Content"). CubeForge does not claim ownership of your User Content.
You grant CubeForge a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, host, process, reproduce, display, transmit, resize, compress, and otherwise technically transform your User Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and provide the Service. This includes sharing content with collaborators, draft participants, or the public according to the visibility and sharing settings you choose. The license lasts only as long as needed for those purposes, including reasonable backup and deletion periods.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit your User Content and allow CubeForge to use it as described above. This is especially important for custom cards, artwork, photographs, and other uploaded images. Do not upload confidential information or material that is illegal, abusive, malicious, or infringing.
CubeForge may restrict or remove User Content when reasonably necessary because it is illegal, abusive, infringing, creates a security risk, or seriously violates these Terms. Where practical, CubeForge will consider the context and severity before acting.
6. CubeForge and Wizards Materials
Except for User Content and third-party materials, the CubeForge software, design, and original content may be protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of those materials to you.
CubeForge is unofficial Fan Content permitted under the Fan Content Policy. Not approved/endorsed by Wizards. Portions of the materials used are property of Wizards of the Coast. © Wizards of the Coast LLC.
Magic: The Gathering and related trademarks belong to Wizards of the Coast. CubeForge is not affiliated with or endorsed by Wizards of the Coast.
7. Third-Party Services and Affiliate Links
CubeForge relies on or links to third-party services for authentication, hosting, card data and images, analytics, email, marketplaces, and other features. This includes services such as Supabase, Cloudflare, Scryfall, CardNexus, and Impact. Third-party content, availability, card data, image quality, prices, inventory, purchases, delivery, and policies are controlled by those providers, not CubeForge.
Some marketplace or product links are affiliate or referral links. CubeForge may receive compensation when a user registers or completes a qualifying purchase through one of those links. Any purchase is made with the destination service under its own terms and privacy practices.
8. Availability and Data
CubeForge is provided on a best-effort basis. The Service may be interrupted, delayed, changed, suspended, or discontinued, and no feature or integration is guaranteed to remain available. CubeForge is not guaranteed permanent storage. Keep independent copies of content that is important to you.
Reasonable efforts are made to preserve and secure the Service, but errors, loss, corruption, failed drafts, and incomplete or outdated third-party data cannot be completely excluded.
9. Suspension and Termination
CubeForge may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address a serious or repeated violation of these Terms, abuse, illegal activity, or a material security risk. Where appropriate and practical, CubeForge will give notice or an opportunity to correct the issue, but immediate action may be required to protect users or the Service.
You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination, including rights in existing third-party materials, disclaimers, and liability limits, will continue to apply.
10. Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains how CubeForge handles personal information and forms part of the terms governing your use of the Service.
11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CubeForge is provided "as is" and "as available," without promises that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or suitable for a particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CubeForge is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of or inability to use the Service, including loss of data, opportunity, or expected savings. This does not exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, and it does not affect mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.
12. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated as CubeForge changes. Material updates will be communicated through the Service where reasonably practical, and the date at the top of this page will be updated. If you do not agree to updated Terms, you should stop using the Service.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The courts of Japan will have jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms or the Service, except where mandatory consumer protection or jurisdiction rules in your country give you additional rights or require a different forum.
