My name is Martin and over the last 7 years, I have curated this cube of the Modern format. This cube is generic in its card choice to allow decks to come together more easily with card selection. All cards are powerful and I make an effort to include many iconic pieces of the Modern format itself. I try to keep this updated as much as possible with each set release, which includes adding new cards and swapping others with old favorites to accomadate new changes. The gameplay is fresh and fun every time, as every color combination has its own strngths and weaknesses. That being said, it is very difficult to draft an unplayable or bad deck. The list also maintains a feeling of user firendliness as cards that let "the ring tempt you" or "enter a dungeon" are purposefully excluded. Anything from BW Tokens to Gx Ramp, Mono Red to GU Tempo, WUBRG Niv to BG Midrange have all shown success and dominated at least a few drafts. This has shown me that deckbuilding is in the eye of the beholder, as each player over the years has shown me angles of attack that I had not considered to try myself!
