Cube philosophy
Limited Capenna is a fun-first singleton winston cube focusing on greedy goodstuff.
Design goals
Since Capenna is a 3 color faction, I narrowed it down to three factions all sharing a black base. All factions share black, two share blue and red and only one has white and green. The cube has solid color-fixing to support the 3 and 4 color decks. The card pool is high on gold cards and light on filler.
Archetypes
Factions
Obscura (WUB): Control. Survive on value and removal, close with Sanctuary Warden or All-Seeing Arbiter.
Maestros (UBR): Removal-based midrange. Flexible, protective, wins through attrition and a strong top end.
Riveteers (BRG): Aspirational aggro that naturally drifts midrange unless deliberately tuned for creature density.
Color breakdown
White: Stabilize and close. Value creatures, one board wipe, one big flying finisher.
Blue: Card advantage and tempo. The engine for Obscura, a protective toolbox for Maestros.
Black: The wildcard! Removal, aggression (Blitz), or grind value depending on what a given deck needs.
Red: Pure aggression and reach, no exceptions. The most single-minded color in the pool.
Green: Top-heavy payoff, not pressure. Riveteers' reason to win the midgame, but it demands real mana investment, not a light splash.
Power level
High for a single-set limited pool, not high for a constructed or Vintage-Cube standard.
