This is my peasant (i.e., rarity restricted) cube. All cards in the list have been printed at either common and uncommon. It is designed around three color archetypes with very few to no trap cards. The cube is designed to be heavy on interaction with fast game play as the norm.

Welcome! This cube was designed to be a middle ground between my pauper and powered cube. I have tried to create a fun and interactive environment that supports a lot of different archetypes across all color combinations.


Some things to keep in mind with this cube.

  • The cube is designed around three-color archetypes to make the cube as flexible as possible so cards could fit in multiple archetypes, with that said, two color deck tend to the norm during the draft,
  • Cube is designed with synergy in mind over raw power, decks built with a theme in mind tend to do better,
  • Mana fixing: Only fixing lands allowed are those printed at common or uncommon (no rare+ fixing lands),
  • Environment is singleton with no doubles, but functional reprints are considered ok for the cube,
  • Mechanics such as the buyback, initiative, dungeons and the monarch have been purposely omitted for power level or complexity reasons,
  • Several cards have not been included for power level reasons such as, but not limited to, Demonic Tutor, Sol Ring, Skullclamp, Ancient Tomb, Strip Mine, Wasteland, and finally Mother of Runes(RIP)

This cube reminds me of what magic was like when I first started and was a blast to design and has been a lot of fun to maintain and update. This cube has been featured at CubeCon in 2023 and 2024! Much appreciation to anyone who drafted it then.
