Draft The Hobbit
Magic returns to Middle-earth in a medium-sized draft environment built primarily for four-player Pick-Two Draft. Instead of a full ten-pair cycle, The Hobbit supports five factions from the Battle of Five Armies: Humans, Goblins, Wolves, Dwarves, and Elves. Recruit and Adventures add card selection and flexibility, while storied, amass, ferocious, and landfall reward distinct ways of building the board. Five common dual lands help with splashes and the three-color decks that can emerge in smaller pods.

Humans: Recruit and Draw Two
Use recruit to filter draws, create Human tokens, and trigger payoffs for drawing your second card each turn.
Goblins: Amass and Sacrifice
Grow a Goblin Army, sacrifice creatures for value, and gradually drain or grind down the opponent.
Wolves: Ferocious
Ramp into creatures with power 4 or greater, then turn on ferocious payoffs and win through size.
Dwarves: Storied
Control three artifacts, legendary permanents, and/or Sagas to establish an enduring story and unlock storied payoffs.
Elves: Landfall Control
Play a slower landfall game, contain opposing creatures, and build toward powerful late-game threats.
