Modern Horizons 3 is a direct-to-Modern set released on June 14, 2024. Rather than introducing one central new mechanic, MH3 combines more than 40 returning mechanics around three major Limited themes: Energy in white-blue-red, Eldrazi and colorless mana in blue-red-green, and modified creatures in white-black-green. The draft environment supports ten two-color archetypes, but adjacent color pairs often share cards and mechanics. Landscapes and modal double-faced lands provide useful fixing, making splashes and some three-color builds practical when the draft supports them.
