Magic: The Gathering – Assassin's Creed (ACR) is a 2024 Universes Beyond release based on Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed series. Its main mechanics are freerunning, which discounts spells after an Assassin deals combat damage, historic, which connects legendary cards, artifacts, and Sagas, plus returning disguise and cloak mechanics. Unlike a normal Magic expansion, ACR was explicitly not designed for Booster Draft: its seven-card Beyond Boosters were made for opening and collecting rather than Limited play. Drafting it as a set cube is therefore an alternative way to explore its cards, not a recreation of an official retail Limited format.
