Lorwyn is the first set of Lorwyn block and one of Magic’s most focused tribal Limited environments. Its original draft format was triple-Lorwyn, so a Lorwyn set cube closely matches the set’s first draft experience. The set is built around creature types such as Kithkin, Merfolk, Faeries, Goblins, Elves, Giants, Treefolk, and Elementals, with changeling cards helping bridge tribes and fill creature-type counts. Champion, evoke, clash, hideaway, and tribal cards add texture, but the main draft question is usually which tribe is open and how much support it needs. Some decks are straightforward aggressive tribal decks, while others use synergy, recursion, or mana fixing to stretch into slower multicolor plans.
