Draft Zendikar on CubeForge

Draft Zendikar's fast-paced Limited format featuring Landfall, Allies, tribal aggression, and relentless tempo.

Draft Zendikar

Zendikar (ZEN) is the first set of the Zendikar block, released in 2009. The format is famous for its speed and emphasis on tempo, with aggressive creature decks defining much of the metagame. Landfall is the set's signature mechanic, rewarding players for making land drops and creating explosive combat turns. Removal is efficient, games are often decided by battlefield development in the early turns, and defensive strategies must work hard to stabilize. Allies provide one of the set's major synergy themes, while tribal Vampire and Kor strategies offer additional draft directions. Despite its reputation as an aggressive format, Zendikar contains meaningful archetype diversity and rewards careful drafting, sequencing, and combat planning.
