Fate Reforged (FRF) is the middle set of the Tarkir block, released in 2015. The Limited environment bridges the wedge-focused clans of Khans of Tarkir and the dragon-ruled world of Dragons of Tarkir. Its signature mechanic, manifest, adds flexibility and hidden information to gameplay, while delve, prowess, raid, ferocious, and outlast continue to shape the format. Fate Reforged was primarily drafted as part of a mixed-set environment rather than as a standalone format, making fixing and multicolor planning important skills. The set contains strong rares and powerful morph creatures, but successful drafts generally depend on efficient creatures, mana consistency, and understanding the incentives of each clan.
